Blessed Margaret of Castello

Blessed Margaret Family Help Center, Inc.

This is an offer to everyone who's bought my book on defeating sinful addictions, "The Hook and I". In my book I include a prayer that the addict is to say every day, "The Nothingness Itself Prayer" that I have made into an oversize prayer card that has a likeness of Venerable Antonio Margil de Jesus on it and the prayer on the reverse side. You see, Ven. Antonio is the namesake for the prayer and it seemed logical to feature him on the front. In addition, I knew that those of us suffering from hooks would need a crib sheet, or cheat sheet, to help us remember the order of the Catholic 12-Steps. So I created a second holy card. This card has the picture I took of a statue of Blessed Margaret of Castello (the same one you see at the top of each page of this website) at the Blessed Margaret of Castello shrine at St. Henry's Church in Louisville, KY. She's pictured on the front and the Catholic 12-Steps in outline form is on the reverse.

Since I created these cards to help the addict that has purchased the book and is fighting his hook using the Catholic 12-Steps, I will send a set of these cards for free to anyone who has purchased the book and sends a self-addressed stamped business envelope with the answer to the question: "What image is shown on page 230 of The Hook and I?" Send your SASE with the correct answer to our mailing address of: Blessed Margaret Center, 3723 Maplewood Dr, Amelia, OH 45102.
